image0-7image0-6Here are my two samples that Judy-Sue assigned me. She and her team at the studio suggested many things, and I tried to incorporate them all. Some of things they said were: that I needed a main character, that for the trade market the work couldn’t be as decorative, and to have some breathing room. They also thought I should experiment with a wash of color in the background and to try using a colored paper for the cut part. I’m off to mail these to the studio and will have my fingers crossed that they come close to what they want.
