Last week I got Martha Stewart’s cookie cookbook out from the library. Warning, it will make you want cookies immediately after looking at the gorgeous photography. It’s arranged like a cookie encyclopedia and I think we need to own our own copy. Today we made the cover cookie, Chewy Chocolate Gingerbread cookies. Yum, we couldn’t wait to chill the dough, and made ours without fresh grated ginger and made them smaller and they are delicious! Andrew had picked out fortune cookies to make, but I wasn’t that ambitious. Here is yesterday’s Berry cake. Oh, and on another note, in today’s mail I got back another returned manuscript. BIG sigh, that makes 6 (if I’m counting correctly).
