IMG_0306If you do, try this delicious cake. It’s a recipe from Shari, that she gave me about 14 years ago. This is the first time I’ve made it and I wish I had tried it sooner. It’s like eating a really yummy blueberry muffin. Here is the recipe if your interested and it comes from Shari’s MIL:

Bernadette’s Blueberry Cake

1/2 cup butter                             1 1/2 cups sugar

2 eggs                                               1 cup milk

4 cups of flour                               4 tsps. baking powder

1 tsp. salt                                         4 cups blueberries

Sift dry ingredients. Cream butter, sugar and eggs together. Add to it flour mixture alternately with milk. Fold in blueberries. Pour batter into greased 13×9 inch pan. Sprinkle 2 tbs. sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon on top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted it middle comes out clean.
