Hello dear and faithful reader! What started out as a quiet and not much happening week changed today. We went to the Florence Griswold Museum today. It was an outing with Michelle and she couldn’t of picked a better attraction for us. It is located in Old Lyme (I think) CT and was a boarding house for American Impressionist artists. It was so interesting and picturesque. The artists spent summers there painting in ‘plein air’. They could paint in the gardens or on the river banks. In the dining room, esteemed artists were invited to paint on the wall panels and door panels, so very cool! Other highlights from the day were having an audience with the venerable, Miss Kiwi Divine and all her majestic glory. Other happenings from the week were giving both kids hair cuts, baking a german apple-blueberry cake and making sugar cookies with 3 variations-cinnamon-nut, blobbed with nutella and with sprinkles hidden inside. Archie also enjoyed his first trip to the local dog park, here you see him en-route. Michelle was so sweet and gave Sophia this fabulous pug bag for graduation! I threw in a photo of Finky and his new favorite hot spot, sprawling on our kitchen table, oy!
