I’m typing this post with 9 fingers. Yesterday I cut my left pointer finger, big sigh. I was cutting my calendar pages and the knife slipped. I trimmed off all the skin on the edge of my finger, so I need a scab to happen and fast. I did manage to get back in the saddle today and finish all my calendar cutting, so success after all. Last night Marc and I attended Sophia’s open house at the high school. It was so good to meet her teachers and see what her day is like. It is exhausting, I can’t imagine doing it every day! Tonight I got these examples done for my Monday class at the Providence Handicraft club. It was so refreshing to be using a paintbrush and color. Plus no risk of drawing blood with watercolors. Now onto starting the finish for a commission piece.
